UPA Performer Curriculum and Program

Annual Performance Requirement: Each student must participate in at least four shows per year to receive our Numbered Certificate of Achievement, presented during the annual Graduation Ceremony in June. This certificate is a reference document and can be included in resumes for schools, colleges, universities, or future employers. It is a certificate of recognition and achievement and will definitely be forever remembered by each UPA student.

4 In-House Practice Shows Available: We hold four practice shows annually, each requiring about three hours from performers on show day, along with one general rehearsal. Halloween Show teaches costuming and make-up; Winter Holidays Show focuses on partner stunts and teamwork; April Fools Show teaches how to incorporate comedy; and Graduation Show: Motivation Gala focuses on excellence, achievement, and motivation.

Additional Public Performances Available: Members of the UPA Elite Performers Team will have opportunities to perform on larger stages across the GTA and Ontario.

Competitive Teams: UPA also offers pathways to create teams for competitions like Canada’s Got Talent and America’s Got Talent.

Career Preparation: Our program prepares students for potential careers in kinesiology, physiotherapy, teaching, public speaking, coaching, mentoring, and performance arts.
